By the mid 1980′s Chrysler figured out once again speed sells. Gone were the days of Hemi Cuda’s and 340 Demon’s. The new Chrysler products were mostly based on small front wheel drive cars that were based on either the K-Car platform or the Omni platform. That speed was not done the old fashioned way with raw horsepower but with lightweight and turbo charging Chrysler’s workhorse engine the 2.2 liter four cylinder.
